This is where we decided to "put-in" at Big bear lake. Its a campground where they launch watercraft. We had to pay $5 per boat and they issue you a day use sticker so I guess you have to have those to be on the lake.
We set out on the lake for a little paddle. It was warm and windy at first. Tolerable weather. The water is not clean like Tahoe, but it was an interesting paddle.
As you can see, we met a couple of little buddies. These two quackers followed us for a little ways.
Really cute, and probably looking for some food.
We found a great little alcove to paddle into with a small wild bird refuge. I took a couple of pictures but not too many. There was a mad goose there that was protecting her babies. We didn't stick around too long.
The people that live along the lake have some beautiful homes also.
We may go back again because the lake is about an hour from our house.
Here is a picture of me too! I am the one taking the pictures so I am rarely in them.
Hoping to tan my feet a little.
This is my usual view. One of these days I am going to be the leader and he's going to take the pictures.
Saying goodbye to Big Bear for now. Off to eat lunch and then home...
Until our next adventure.
