Puddingstone Lake/Reservoir

Today we are trying Puddingstone. All these years I have been in California and this is the first time I have actually been out on the lake. Take a look at today's journey.

Today's destination: Puddingstone Reservoir

On our way to Bonelli Park to go to Puddingstone. Here's the new road they made by the Silverwood Airport. We're coming up in the world.

Bonelli Park.

Very pretty scenery.

You do have to share the road on the way down.

Perfect day!

And we're off!

Puddingstone has some really pretty shorelines and quite a few picnic areas. We paddled around the lake almost all the way around. We didn't go by the spillways. The rocks on the shoreline were pretty cool to paddle around.

Around this corner is East Shore RV Park.

We're headed up to this picnic area to have lunch.

Not a bad spot, pretty empty and there's a dock. There were a few bees trying to interrupt us but nothing we couldn't handle.

Dorks...

We spent a little bit of time at our lunch spot.

Not sure what this was, but it was cool.

The water was warm and the sun was hot, even though there was a slight haze today.

Relaxing...

The dock...

Paths around the lake...

Geese, sandpipers, ducks, and mudhens...

Back to the other side...

This is so serene compared to the other side of the lake.

Like glass!

Can you see the turtle?

Catamaran (my word for it)...a great way to just floating and relax.

Double Selfie!

Saw an Egret.

Found a little brown frog...this lady picked up the frog everytime she tried to send it on its way back in the water, the little frog kept swimming back to her hand, it was hilarious! I wouldn't pick it up, I didn't want to get a wart, lol.

That is me in the glassy water...

I don't know if you can tell but I am laying back relaxing. There is no currant so I could just stay in one spot for a while if I wanted to.

I love this place.

Another end to an awesome adventure. Until we paddle again...
